How To Use Social Networks For Business
In order to get targeted traffic you need to be where the people are and socializing for business in social networks is HUGE. How big is social networking? According to the Alexa rankings:
- #2 Facebook
- #3 YouTube
- #10 Twitter
Follow the flow of the conversation and be an attractive participant. Once you hone your socializing for business skills you will find yourself as a sought after social networker and business opportunities will come to you rather than the other way around. Isn't that better than prospecting for business?
One of the benefits to social networking is what you are saying can be seen by all. People by nature are a little nosy. So when they read your conversation and find it interesting they become curious. The more interesting you are the more curious they become and eventually they check out your profile. Of course this is where you have links to your opportunity but that is of less importance.
If you have filled your profile out completely, interests and all, they may find an interest in common and start a new conversation. Do you see whats happening here? You are building a relationship and trust. People like to do business with those that they trust. Eventually they may ask about your opportunity and how it is working for you. Maybe they are interested in a work from home job or maybe a product you sell. The point is social networking for business can lead to sales without ever actively promoting your opportunity.
The lesson here....Get yourself where the crowd is. Start using social networks for business - just be yourself and keep it real.
